Finished 5 Part Tutorial! Posted: 05/28/09 @ 10:54 PM
This tutorial was long, and hopefully it will help you guys. I'd appreciate if you added some comments even if it doesn't help you too much. I see a couple hits a day which is better than nothing, but I never get any comments. You don't have to be a registered user to comment. Thanks for listening, and please comment! I will be adding some PHP tutorials very soon.
Finished Photoshop Part of Tutorial Posted: 05/26/09 @ 03:43 PM
I just finished the last Photoshop part of the tutorial. I am currently encoding the video to upload to the website for you guys to view. The next part of the tutorial will be slicing the website. I'm not sure if I will show you guys how to create the website in CSS, but I am definitely going to show you some tricks with Dreamweaver to make the website working within a couple minutes. To see the final result please click here. Thanks for viewing.
New Tutorial! Posted: 05/23/09 @ 11:24 AM
I am currently creating a 3 section tutorial. I just recently finished part 1, the header shown above. This tutorial is advanced and is for users who are used to Photoshop. I also shot my first 720p tutorial. This tutorial is very large in size, so I suggest broadband connections only, or you can download the tutorial and watch it when you receive it. Thanks for watching!
Tim Feid's Shop Posted: 05/22/09 @ 04:32 PM
I recently finished coding the whole shopping cart. I know it's way earlier than I expected, but I've been working hard on it for the past week. It's done now, but I need to do some work and clean ups to make sure it's ready to go out for sale. You can check it out here: http://timfeid.com/shop. If you like the idea, please comment me. I actually would like to change my mind, I'm not done with this. I will be adding some more unique and more user-friendly features.
Opening a shop! Posted: 05/19/09 @ 07:59 PM
I am currently working on an online shop to sell some scripts and PSD's to you guys. It should be finished mid-June, hopefully before I graduate. The first script I plan to sell is the shopping cart I'm going to have for my website.

Also, I just bought www.timfeid.com, so update your bookmarks because all I'm waiting for is my webmaster to move all of the files from here to there. It will be a permanent move, so I will set this page to forward there.

New Tutorial! Posted: 05/16/09 @ 10:56 AM
I just added a new tutorial about the navigation menu on this website. It shows how I created that sharp line with the gradient into the background. You can view it here. I also re-did the navigation links to make my website more SEO friendly, I plan to upgrade my domain to www.timfeid.com very soon! I actually just finished a web design job to pay for the domain, I am just waiting on receiving the money!
In Class Posted: 05/15/09 @ 08:09 AM
I currently am in my Tech Drawing class at my high school right now. I usually finish the projects in here a day or two early. I currently have an 4.0 average for this class as Illustrator is second nature to me, as I use it almost everyday out side of class. I will upload some example of the projects my teacher currently makes us do, and you can judge whether or not I earned my great grade. Along side this computer class, I also take a Visual Basic class as well. With Visual Basic, I know just as much as the teacher does. My school day is probably shorter than your high school's day. We arrive at school at around 7:45 and get out at 12:20 every day, which makes my computer life much easier, as I get more time to mess around with some designs and whatnot. This is the only project I think is fair that you can judge that I created for the class. It's a concept design product, I went ahead and created a new phone for Verizon. Check that out here. I also created an iPod Nano, a car, and a school logo for extra credit.
Commentized! Posted: 05/12/09 @ 08:02 PM
I have bought www.commentized.com about 5 months ago because I was dedicated to re-creating comment4me.com, but now I see no point in it, as it only works for those using Firefox. I have nothing to really work on, so I am going to start recreating this project from the ground up, new users and everything. Please check back often to see the updated progress of the website.
What do I get? Posted: 05/11/09 @ 05:39 PM
I can't decide what to get for graduation/birthday money, if either of these. The first of the two is a Panasonic HDC-HS20K camcorder which would be awesome to continue these tutorials in HD. The second is a new HTPC (Home Theater PC) which would include a GeForce GTX 285 Superclocked Edition 2GB 512-bit DDR3 video card, 4GB of Kingston ram, which is pretty cheap. It would also come with a TB hard drive for all my music and movies. I currently have 330GB of movies and about 30 GB of music, so I should be set for a pretty long time with a TB. As far as the camcorder goes, I'd have 80GB of HD footage, which might not be a very long time, and the batteries on those things never last long enough. I'm not 100% sure what I'm going to go with, but right now I'm leaning for the HTPC.
Design For Sale! Posted: 05/10/09 @ 04:47 PM
I recently took some time out to create a nice looking splash page for a company that recently fell, and I've gotten no money for it! If you would like to see it, please click here. So if you're willing to pay a website and like the look of that one, please use the contact link! Also, happy mothers day!
My iPod Touch Posted: 05/08/09 @ 06:45 PM
I got my first iPod Touch on Christmas day 2007, and since then I've fallen in love with it. I recently found out our school's WiFi connection password, and I've been searching the web and downloading apps throughout class! It's probably one of the best available products besides your computers and laptops. You may have heard the rumors that Apple is coming out with an iPhone for Verizon (my current carrier) and to me, that is some great news! All I know is that the iPhone cannot be officially called an "iPhone" if it comes out to Verizon, because of their contact with AT&T. If this does come out, I'd be expecting it to come out for next Christmas which is about 230 days away from today. Lets all cross our fingers!
I got a BlackBerry! Posted: 05/07/09 @ 10:19 AM
I recently got a BlackBerry Curve 8330. My pin is 30747836. It has taken about 2 days to get used to, but now I am ready to go. I can even type on my blog from there with ease. If anyone has any questions or wants a design, please contact me via the contact page, or send me an email timmy1@gmail.com. Thanks for visiting.
I'm Back! Posted: 05/04/09 @ 01:14 PM
Well I went to Arizona over the last 4 or 5 days, I'm too lazy to count, and I ended up having a great time. The weather out there is something different. I'm used to this mild temperatured and rainy Jersey. Out there, it was about 90 everyday, though it only felt like 75 because there was no humidity. I visited the grand canyon, and that was a sight to see, though after a while, it did become repetitive, I had felt like I had seen it all in the first 5 minutes. Anyway, now that I am home, I will be uploading some pictures and textures for you guys to see along with some new tutorials.
