Going to Arizona Posted: 04/28/09 @ 11:48 PM
Tomorrow I will be heading out to Tempe, Arizona to attend my brother, Allan's, graduation. Aside from seeing my brother graduate my maybe, undecided college I will be visiting the grand canyon. I will probably take some pictures and post them here for you guys to see. I also believe that the grand canyon will offer some great texture pictures. So along with some beauty shots, I will be taking some texture shots to share with you guys. I'll be gone until Sunday, so that means no new tutorials and no blog posts until May! I'll see you then.
A major downfall of today, though, is that the Devils, my favorite sport team lost in a very horrible way. I can't even describe how frustrated I was to see how that game ended. I'm sure it's available on YouTube or NHL.com if you really want to see it. I'm too upset to describe it.
Added Tutorials Posted: 04/26/09 @ 11:18 PM
Just wanted to let everyone know I added some tutorials to the tutorial section. Hopefully you all like them. If you have any requests please leave them in the comments. Also, the Devils didn't play up to par, I actually turned the game off after the 10 minute mark in the second period. Hopefully they'll win game 7 on Tuesday. Anyway, enjoy the tutorials and have a great day!
Devils @ Canes, Sunday - 7:30PM Posted: 04/25/09 @ 01:27 PM
Hopefully this Sunday when the Hurricanes host the Devils, the Devils can take the series. Last time the Devils visited the Hurricanes the Devils played terrible in the first 2 periods, until Brian Gionta scored the Devils first goal with 28 seconds remaining the second period, making the score 3-1 in favor of the Canes. In the third period, the Devils started to show their true skill, as Brendan Shanahan and David Clarkson's goals tied it up with about 11 minutes remaining in regulation. The momentum was all Devils, until the last face off of the night, which was won by the Canes. The Canes didn't allow the devils to clear the zone, causing a goal with only .2 seconds left. Though it was a heart breaker, the devils bounced back in 48 hours with a 1-0 shutout at Prudential Center in Newark. The Canes allowed Martin Broduer to tie the playoff shutout record shared with Patrick Roy. The series is 3-2 in favor of the devils, and since it's best of 7, the Devils want to take away the series tomorrow and move to the next round of the NHL playoffs.
Under Construction Posted: 04/23/09 @ 02:52 PM
Please note that you may run into some broken parts of the website. You may see some parts say, "Since you are viewing the beta version of my website, you may come across these pages frequently. The pages do exist, but they are not finished. There is no need to contact me if you see this message." This is completely normal, as I am still working on the website. If you run into any other error with the website, then please contact me. The site is expected to be finished early May. Since some people asked how I went about making the under construction picture above, I uploaded the PSD. The PSD can be found here. Any questions or comments please contact me. Anything is appreciated, thanks.
Enifiy Posted: 04/22/09 @ 10:56 PM
I've been working on a design for the company Enifiy for a couple months, now. I finally settled for a design which you can see here. I was actually very happy with the end result. I am also happy to announce to everyone that the first two tries are now templates available for resale. The first attempt can be found here. The thought was to be very simple and fast to load, which it did. We just figured it lacked design effort. The second may be found here. This effort was supposed to be unique so that it would stand out. I think we accomplished that, but then we figured it wasn't the most professional looking, it would be better for a personal site like this one. Obviously the second template would be a little pricey compared to the first template. If you're interested in buying one or both please contact me via the contact page.
